Iliana Díaz López is a London-based creative producer, artist-designer and founder of thefactorysound.com, a production studio and multimedia lab specialised in sound, working at the intersection of culture, innovation, immersive media and contemporary design. With over twenty years of experience across the Music, Creative and Entertainment industries, her work spans both large-scale and small productions, sound design, composition, immersive installations and interdisciplinary project leadership.

Her recent work includes serving as project lead, audio curator, producer, and designer for the Argentina Pavilion at the London Design Biennale 2025, Somerset House, where she developed and delivered the main immersive installation, blending cultural identity, materials, and spatial storytelling with her creative vision, sound expertise, and leadership. She is also the creator of Cosmovisional Sound Stories®, an award-winning project and registered trademark recognised by the British Arts Council (AR–UK), 2018, rooted in cultural memory, social impact, nature, humanity, and Indigenous wisdom, and exemplifying creative innovation, brand storytelling, audience engagement, and transformative experiences.

Iliana’s professional practice spans creative production, coordination, artist development, sound design, composition, audio engineering, performance, education and research. She has worked with public institutions, cultural organisations, and global creative and entertainment industries, including Argentina’s Ministry of Education – Programme of Choirs for the Bicentennial (AR), La Abadía – Centro de Estudios y Arte Latinoamericano (AR), Teatro del Globo (AR), Angel Recording Studios by Abbey Road Studios – UMG (UK), and SIDE / PTW – VO AAA video games (UK). Her artistic highlights include The Rolling Stones – Olé Tour, La Plata Stadium 2016 (AR), Escena Pública 2017/18 – Emerging Sound Designer Recognition by Argentina’s Ministry of Culture (AR), Awasi Artist in Residency 2024 (AR), and Sound in Museums 2025 (PT), among others.
